Fee Concession Policy Scheme

Aim of Policy Scheme:

The Shri Raghu Nath Rai Memorial Educational & Charitable Trust scholarship policy aims to support and encourage academic excellence, talent, and potential in students pursuing higher education. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to eligible students, helping them overcome financial barriers and achieve their educational goals. The fee concession policy scheme is available for the students of B. TECH Civil Engineering, B.TECH Mechanical Engineering, B. TECH Electrical Engineering, and B. TECH Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Types of Scholarships:

Different types of scholarships available under this policy, such as:

  1. Merit-based scholarships: Awarded to students based on their academic achievements and performance.
  2. Need-based scholarships: Awarded to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
  3. Special talent scholarships: Awarded to students with exceptional skills or talents in specific areas (e.g., arts, sports, research).

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Academic requirements (Result of 12th / Diploma examination).
  2. Family income criteria for need-based scholarships.
  3. Specific achievements or talents for special talent scholarships.
  4. Based on the result of IEEE Examination.

Application Process:

Step 1:

Fill the Application form at the time of registration.

Step 2: Supporting documents Required:

  • 10th Marksheet
  • 12th Marksheet
  • Diploma Final year Marksheet/Diploma Transcript
  • Migration Certificate of the previous passed examination.
  • Character Certificate.
  • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card.
  • Passport Size Photographs (5/8)

Step 3:

Fill the Application form before the last date.

Selection Committee:

The selection committee will be responsible for evaluating the applications and selecting deserving candidates based on the set criteria. List of Members of the Selection Committee are:

Amount and Duration:

  • Amount of fee concession: Up to 45% Per Semester on Tuition Fee.
  • Duration of fee concession: First Semester to Eighth Semester.
  • The concession scheme will be applicable only for the Tuition fee of every semester. It is not valid for Hostel fee, Examination fee, Uniform fee.
  • It is a one-time grant scheme and will be applicable for the rest of the semesters.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Scholarship utilization: The scholarship funds must be used exclusively for educational expenses, such as tuition fees, books, and other necessary educational materials.
  2. Academic performance: Set academic standards that scholarship recipients must maintain to continue receiving the scholarship.
  3. Reporting: Require periodic progress reports to monitor the academic and overall progress of the scholarship recipients.

Additional Provisions:

  1. Faculty members will provide the membership fee of professional bodies.
  2. Each faculty member shall participate in at least 1 conference/seminar/workshop/FDP, etc., in a semester subject to a maximum of 2 such participations.

AMENDMENTS TO THE POLICY:

  1. Policy Review: This policy will be reviewed periodically by the Governing Body to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.
  2. Amendments: Amendments to this policy approved by the Governing Body.
